The brand name for emergency contraception, or the "morning after pill", that is taken to prevent an unwanted pregnancy after lack of birth control use or birth control failure. It is currently available for over-the-counter purchase by individuals 17 years of age or older. It can be taken within 120 hours of having unprotected sex.
