The inner and outer folds of flesh that cover a female's vagina. The outer pair (or labia majora) is larger and hair grows on it. The inner pair (or labia minora) is smaller and made of a mucous membrane. These folds of skin help cover and protect the vagina and the urethra. Sometimes called the "lips" between a female's legs.
